Launching a coin

A launch takes one transaction. You need a wallet on HyperEVM with a little HYPE for the network fee, and, if you want to buy some of your own coin at launch, some of the asset you pair it with.

1. Connect your wallet

Select Connect wallet at the top of any page and choose your wallet. You sign a short message to prove the wallet is yours. Signing it is free and moves nothing. If your wallet is on another network, notional asks it to switch to HyperEVM.

2. Describe your coin

  • Image. PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP, up to 4 MB. Square images look best.
  • Name. Up to 32 characters.
  • Ticker. Up to 8 letters or digits. Tickers are not unique, so buyers should always check a coin's page, not just its ticker.
  • Description and links. Optional. They appear on your coin's page.

3. Choose a pair

Pick HYPE, USDC or one of the tokenized stocks. Your coin is bought and sold in that asset for its whole life, on the curve and after graduation. See Pairs.

4. Buy at launch, if you want to

You can buy some of your own coin in the same transaction that creates it, paid in the pair asset. It is the first buy on the curve, at the curve's lowest price.

5. Review and confirm

Check the summary, then confirm the transaction in your wallet. Once it is confirmed, your coin is live on its curve, appears on the explore page and has a page of its own.

A coin's name, ticker, image and pair are permanent once it is launched. Check them before you confirm.

Welcome to notional

notional is an interface to smart contracts on HyperEVM. You stay in control of your wallet, every transaction is final, and memecoins and tokenized stocks can lose all of their value.
